The Pearson English Connect (PEC) Platform objective was to enhance the overall user experience across four key areas: onboarding, eBook interaction, teacher resource access, and performance tracking. By applying design thinking and user research methodologies, we identified six core UX challenges—including a fragmented onboarding process and unclear teaching dashboards—and developed targeted solutions to streamline navigation, improve resource accessibility, and simplify user flows for both educators and learners.
The redesign focused on creating a more cohesive and intuitive experience, particularly for teachers juggling multiple resources and class needs. Through thoughtful interface improvements and clearer content structuring, the platform became more user-friendly and effective in supporting classroom goals. The success of this initiative led to increased platform adoption and an extended engagement with Pearson, where we were brought on to revamp their Hong Kong-based Pearson English Connect platform tailored for students and teachers alike.
